The Friendship of Odd Fellowship
is expressed in our
Founder's and Grand Master's nights.

"Odd Fellows make a pledge to 'visit the sick, relieve the distressed, bury the dead and educate the orphan' when they join the Order."
(from the Massachusetts Grand Lodge Website)

Our Founder, Thomas Wildey, built this order (which we date from April 26, 1819) upon the principles of
Friendship, Love and Truth
and this year we combined the night when we honor him and our founding with our Grand Master's night
where we honor our current Grand Master and invite some of his board to join us as we
celebrate those principle of Friendship, Love in Truth inculcated in thier lives.

Below are some images telling of the grand night we had. Visiting with our officers at the Cavalier Resturant were
Grand Master, Neville J. Richen, PG; Deputy Grand Master, Gerard Gilmore Jr, PG; Grand Warden, Craig Cellettie, PG
Grand Secretary, Clarence Plant, PGM; Grand Instructor, Samuel C. White, PGM; and District Deputy Grand Master, Ray LaBorde, PGM

Enjoyable and inspiring comments were heard from the Grand Officers and a presentation of a gift to the
Greater Springfield Relay for Life by our Treasuer, Bob Maurice, to our Chaplain, Charles Knight who is
a member of the STCC Stompers team in this event to help knock out cancer as a threat in our lifetime.

Brother Knight is also the Captian for an IOOF team in the Western Massachusetts Arthritis Walk.

Below are some candid images of that happy evening. Clicking on thumbnail will bring up a bigger image.
